“It's interesting when I think about influences....... Well, I've been very fortunate to always have a great support system of family and close friends both have influenced me and inspired me to reach for my dream in pursuing a career in Music. When I was growing up I participated in Choir and Swing Choir and went on to compete in Solo and Ensemble competitions and I learned a lot from these competitions as they would critique you skill and ability and list some ways on how to improve. I

would also have to say that I had the best Choir teacher all through school and she was always an inspiration. As far as artists go or types of music it definitely varies from Mariah Carey, Oleta Adams, Aretha (of course) or anything that is soulful and you can really feel the lyrics. Country music was something that I have developed a deep love of and some of my favorite Artists include Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Reba McIntyre, Garth Brooks and my all time favorite singer in country music is Martina! Can she sing or what!!! :-)” –Brandi Kaye

Lyrics

Country Funk

Written By: Brandi Kaye, Lorie Lappin

V1 This is how we do it down in the south
‘Shine in a mason jar tipped to the mouth
Pick up trucks with American Flags spinnin the mud
Got me some lovin from my hillbilly thug

Chorus The country funk, country funk
Girls shakin it in daisy duke denim
Throwin back shots of rattlesnake venom
I need a hiphop hillbilly from back in the woods
Line dancing, booty shakin, hell raisin mood
The country funk, country funk

V2 Doin the Soulja Boy in Apple Bottom jeans
Dolce and Gabbana and lots of bling
Up in the club or down on the farm
A little thug lovin with some cowboy charm

Chorus The country funk, country funk
Girls shakin it in daisy duke denim
Throwin back shots of rattlesnake venom
I need a hiphop hillbilly from back in the woods
Line dancing, booty shakin, hell raisin mood
The country funk, country funk

V3 Come on baby lets roll in the hay
We’re gonna do it the country way
Turn the radio up its about to get crunk
This is how we do the country funk

Chorus The country funk, country funk
Girls shakin it in daisy duke denim
Throwin back shots of rattlesnake venom
I need a hiphop hillbilly from back in the woods
Line dancing, booty shakin, hell raisin mood
The country funk, country funk

Grow a Pair

Written By: Brandi Kaye, Lorie Lappin, Mike Anderson

V1
Two little faces through the window stare
They know their daddy will soon be there
The hours begin to tick away
Don’t look like daddy will make it today
Daddy’s same excuse why he can’t be there
Daddy need to grow a pair

CHORUS
It takes a daddy to grow a pair
Someone to love them and always be there
A nuturing heart and two arms to hold
To shelter his babies from the cold
Someone to teach them how to play ball
Someone to pick them up when they fall
A few small words to show he cares
Its takes a daddy to grow a pair

V2
She raised her babies all alone
She’s so proud of how they’ve both grown
She taught them to love and how to care
Momma wished its something daddy would share
They have a daddy that’s never there
That’s ok, momma grew her pair

CHORUS x1

BRIDGE
Son said momma was always there
She taught me to grow my pair

2nd CHORUS
Its don’t take a daddy to grow a pair
Momma will love them and always be there
Her nurturing heart and two arms to hold
To shelter her babies from the cold
Momma taught them how to play ball
She picked them up when they would fall
A few small words show’s she cares
It took a momma to grow a pair

Smoke and Mirrors

Written By: Brandi Kaye, Lorie Lappin

V1
My mind is tangled, my heart is torn
I shared myself with you but none returned
You say that you love me, don’t back up your words
Don’t open up to me and that’s what hurts
When you look in the mirror do you see whats real?
Your love’s in the clouds, not how you feel.

CHORUS
Smoke and mirrors from the start
Your love is an illusion to my heart
Life a fun house mirror, its not real
Smoke and mirrors hide how you feel

V2
You know I am broken, so are you
I want to trust, don’t know what to do
You say you can’t live without my love
I can’t see the truth through the smoke and the dust
Whether you’ll hurt me, there’s no guarantee
Behind the mirror’s there’s more you don’t reveal to me

Your words are just…….

Chorus
Smoke and mirrors from the start
Your love is an illusion to my heart
Life a fun house mirror, its not real
Smoke and mirrors hide how you feel

How do You feel?

The smoke clears, I glimse who you are
A love starved soul with a tattered heart
Smoke and mirrors start with you
Smoke and mirrors, will we ever make it through

Your words are just…. Smoke and Mirrors
Your words are just…. Smoke and Mirrors
