Bio

Driven, talented, and determined are just a few words to describe Brandis. A 20 year old beauty from Cleveland, ohio. Who came to Atlanta with nothing! But only to find her place in music. Born into a family full of a musical background, it was destined for Brandis to sing. Family to Blues legend BB King, and inspiration from her oldest sister and father who is in a musical band.

"Brandis is a kind-hearted, lovable person and so easy to be around, she can definitely make you laugh!" Says her mother Ruby. At the age of 6, she was already letting it be known she was a star. She was active in the church and school choir. Taking the lead parts in school plays and solo's in the choir. By her mother being a single parent of 6, it was hard for her mother to put her in any activities for her many talents. "I have always wanted to go to a school of arts, a dance class or even theater, but I knew the money wasn't there." "So growing up I did talent shows and always participate in musical activities in church and school." Stated Brandis.

By the time she entered high school, she really wanted to make the music career happen. At the age of 16, she was in a girl group that was about to sign a deal with a record label in Cleveland. Unfortunately, the group split. Brandis never doubted she wouldn't reach her dreams. A solo career took flight. Singing, writing, and doing hooks was a routine everyday. She even tried out for "Making the Band 3" and was the "Livest audience member" on 106 and park in 2004. Brandis wanted more and felt she wasn't getting anywhere in the atmosphere she was in. Knowing she had to leave college, but that's just how much she knew in her heart that something better is in store. Having the support of her family and friends made it so much better. Brandis came down to Atlanta riding on a dream with a car filled with clothes and a TV. "Making my dream reality is important to me, you have to vision it first and I see my future being very successful!" "Everyday I am working hard and I am learning and willing to learn a lot more." It's not going to be an easy journey, but I know I qualify to do the job and get it done. "When I am given that one chance, I'm going to take it and run with it! Very far! To everybody who always tell people to follow their dreams and don't give up on yourself, it helps! And there are people out there like me who listens! THANK YOU!!!
