"Brandi Thornton Album Review"

“Black Crow” has a contagious beat, with some darker themes. “Battle of Jackson,” is an interesting analogy of a divorce to the Civil War.

Generally speaking, Brandi has a modern pop/country sound, which should prove very popular. As some of the other “younger” female stars get older – along with their voices and subject matter, Brandi’s youth and innocence will resonate with a certain audience. - Southern Fried Magazine

Thousands of Myspace users can't be wrong.Brandi Thornton is a hit.

With over 400 shows and 100,000 miles traveled over the past two years, the Brandi Thornton Band doesn't let any dust settle. Their fan base spans more than 30 states with 135,000 website visitors this year alone. With Brandi Thornton, you get what you see plus a whole lot more.

Brandi is no rookie the music industry. She began her professional career as a child, eventually performing several hundred fairs and festivals across the Southeastern United States through her teen years. She was featured on the Rosie O'Donnell Show and headlined at Manhattan's Motown Café. Her original recording, "Out of Time" was licensed for use by Levi Strauss Co. in a multi-platform advertising campaign.

She loves to sing country, but is not limited by genre. Her repertoire spans the spectrum of original and cover material, from classic southern rock and r & b to her own songs, described as "rocked out, attitude country." A uniting factor to these selections is that each song is made unique and new through subtle nuances and Brandi's natural gift of showmanship.

Brad Paisley, Martina McBride and Dierks Bentley have all experienced Brandi's high energy show firsthand; using her as an opening act. The fan club just keeps growing through extensive touring to support her newest project, "New Place To Start." Just as comfortable in a tiny honky tonk as in a packed collegiate stadium, one never knows where The Brandi Thornton Band may show up next. It's a sure bet, she'll catch your attention.
