Bio
After writing his first song at the age of 10, Brandon Camphor has continued to use his gifts to glorify God. Now at the age of 18, he is passionately pursuing his career as a professional singer, songwriter, and producer.
He recently competed in the finals (top 10) for the Exalting Him 2005 talent search which will air on TBN in November. He has also competed and placed in national competitions such as, NAACP Act-So, Omega Psi Phi Talent Hunt, and the Discover Card Tribute Award contest.
He has served as the Youth Worship Leader at Hope Christian Church (Bishop Harry R. Jackson) for four years and has shared the stage with artists such as Darwin Hobbs, Alvin Slaughter, Ron Kenoly, and many others.
He recently graduated number 8 in his class from Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC. There he served as the President of the Duke Ellington Show Choir, under the direction of Samuel L. E. Bonds. The choir has shared the stage with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Clay Aiken, Bobby McFerrin, and also allowed him to sing for the President of the United States. He is currently a student at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, where he is working towards a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance.
He recently completed his first independent project entitled, "...to the One." Blending a soulful and urban groove with worshipful lyrics, it promises to uplift your soul and encourage your heart.
A unique style and passionate heart sets Brandon apart from other artists. His desire is to be a message of hope for the nations.
