"What the Fans Are Saying About BWJ!"

Brandon holds small town pride deep down in his soul with vocals that scream “I just might have a secret” and lyrics that cut like a knife. Know what that secret is? He’s seen the L.A. Skyline and its there, hiding inside somewhere. Give him a while. He’ll show it to you.

Bio

Brandon Jones has a way with words. He can turn a phrase so well that it belies the youthful enthusiasm he displays in his life and career. While Brandon is an entertainer of the highest order onstage, at his core, he is simply a tremendously gifted songwriter. This exciting young tunesmith hails from Athens, TX and is ready to unleash his songs and soul on the world. An admirer of music from an early age, Brandon’s life path was forever changed when he suffered an injury while on a baseball scholarship in college. As part of his rehab, Brandon, picked up a hobby he’d long wanted to try—guitar. While his arm mended, Brandon found himself drawn more to music than the baseball diamond. At the end of that semester, inspired by people such as Jack Ingram and Randy Rogers, Brandon transferred to Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX so that he could immerse himself in the scene he now felt so compelled to join. Each passing day in the new hill country environment led to fresh inspiration and the songs poured out of Brandon. Most performers hone their chops by performing in coffee shops, songwriter venues and guitar pulls. However, Brandon, had greater expectations. His first show ever was headlining the biggest venue in San Marcos, Gordo's. Sold out crowd, backing band of hired guns, and his unfolding career at stake. Brandon took the stage. He was an instant master. All the nights of living room performances, campfire picking sessions and hours of finding just the right words to express his emotions had paid off. Since that first show Brandon has had the honor of sharing the stage with many of the other acts at venues across the state: Cory Morrow, Roger Creager, Jason Boland, Honeybrowne, Bleu Edmondson, are just a few of the familiar names he’s had the pleasure of joining. Ever the perfectionist, Brandon has spent many hours in the studio with renowned producer Kelly Donnely trying to craft the ideal musical landscape to illustrate his candid lyrics. On a whim, he even took a solo road trip to California just to see if it would inspire the final song for his debut effort.
