Bio

At the age of 12, Brandon wrote his first song after learning to play the guitar. The song was called "OJ", and yes, it was about THAT OJ. Growing up in Sammamish, WA, he wrote tirelessly, developing his style and technique over the years. Heavily influenced by Tom Petty, Dave Matthews Band, Matchbox Twenty & modern pop music, he was all about the hook and the emotional release of writing. He began performing anywhere he could during his senior year of high school - talent shows, battle of the bands, graduation, coffee shops - you name it, he was there with his guitar. For his senior project he recorded his first acoustic album "Bright Future".

After dropping out of the University of Washington to go to the Art Institute to chase his budding interest in web design, Brandon had a chance meeting at the local QFC. There he met Devin Pugh, a young local drum dynamo that had attended the same high school. Along with jazz bassist Devin Gaylord, they eventually formed the band Boulevard. Since their formation, Boulevard has played at festivals and clubs all over the Northwest and became known for their emotionally energetic and technically proficient performances.

After three albums and five years, Boulevard took a break and Brandon started focusing on his solo songwriting and music production more than ever. Recording all of his songs on his home PC, Brandon has really come into his own in crafting catchy, emotionally infused pop songs and capturing the hearts and ears of his fans.
