Southbound Heart

Southbound Heart

Words and Music by Brandon Lepere
and Mark Eddinger

She was the girl every country boy wanted
Sunshine with the moon in her eyes
Now she’s alone with her night shift daydreams
But will it make her a star

You’ve got to take your chances
Don’t look back
Just believe in yourself
You’ve got to open up and take your shot
Just believe
And don’t have a southbound heart

The city never made anything easy
People don’t care where you’ve been
One day she found her self lost in a small town
We should be glad that she’s gone

You’ve got to take your chances
Don’t look back
Just believe in yourself
You’ve got to open up and take your shot
Just believe
You don’t have a southbound heart

Now she’s been making it on her own now
Living how she wants to live
No one can tell her that she will fail ‘cause
Her life has been a success

You’ve got to take your chances
Don’t look back
And believe in yourself
You’ve got to open up and take your shot
If you believe
You won’t have a southbound heart

I'll Be Your Angel

Written By: Brandon Lepere / Mark Eddinger

You've been locked behind your door
You had it open once before
And I know it brought you pain
Your heart is spinning round and round
The fear of love has kept you down
But now, I know you can take it

Girl, I want to give it all to you
Don’t be afraid of something true
It will be alright
I’ll be your angel tonight

Now you're strong enough to see
That when you give your heart to me
This time, you're gonna make it

Girl, I want to give it all to you
Don’t be afraid of something true
It will be alright
I’ll be your angel tonight

You can open up
And show me how you feel
'Cause baby
I'll give you all my love
And take away your fears

Girl, I want to give it all to you
Don’t be afraid of something true
It will be alright
I’ll be your angel tonight

Walk Like An Angel

Written By: Brandon Lepere/Mark Eddinger

I know it hasn’t been so easy
To wait so long
Sometimes this world is unforgiving
You must be strong

You can’t fly till you can walk like an angel

Some things are never meant to be
The way that you want them
But baby that doesn’t always mean
This life won’t give you all you need

You can’t fly till you can walk like an angel
In your time you should find your wings

Now all you have to do is dream
Of a place they call heaven
Soon maybe you will learn to see
You can find it in your heart

You can’t fly till you can walk like an angel
You can’t fly till you can walk like an angel
In your time you will find your wings
