Bio
Brandon Lepere was born in Massachusetts and raised in the New Hampshire Seacoast. Brandon began playing piano at the age of 8. He was always active in school music programs and often won his school talent shows. At the age of 14 he was selected from thousands of contestants in New England to audition for pop producer Maurice Starr. During high school he had the opportunity to travel with his award-winning high school classical chorus, performing for large audiences across the U.S.
In 1995, Brandon showcased at the Portsmouth Music Hall for the National Country Music Association. After being selected and performing at the national competition in Las Vegas, he was voted Junior Male Vocalist of the Year by the National Country Music Association.
Over the past 10 years, Brandon has opened for numerous national acts including Eddie Money, The Wailers, Hootie and the Blowfish, The Fools and James Montgomery. He regularly performs with many of New Englands premier musicians and has headlined at major venues and clubs throughout the East Coast.
Brandon has written and recorded over 100 original compositions and has released two CDs. Brandon also enjoys collaborating with other writers and artists, and has written songs with Grammy award-winning songwriter Bill Champlin, Billboard award-winning songwriter and producer Mark Eddinger, writer and recording artist Will Champlin, and songwriter and producer Marty Walsh.
Brandon is currently performing as a solo artist and is continuing to write for his own catalog as well as for other artists. He is currently in the studio recording tracks for his next CD release.
