Brandon Lucas

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Brandon Lucas is a guitar player and singer who writes and performs Adult Alternative, with jazz and blues undertones, in the style and influence of John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd.

Ever since receiving his first guitar, Brandon Lucas has always experimented with songwriting, while gaining vocabulary for improvisational skills in Rock, Blues and Jazz. Early on, Brandon gained live playing experience in church bands, and even fronted a few. Even though church music represented his roots, Lucas longed to break into the Rock/Pop market with his own sweet ballads and high energy jams and upon arriving in Los Angeles immediately set out to do so. However, it was not until 2005 that he would enroll in Musician’s Institute and there learn important guitar, songwriting, live musicianship, business and studio skills.

Brandon Lucas is currently building a strong fan base and a large internet presence for himself as well as seeking frequent live playing opportunities around Los Angeles. He has put a four piece band together with which he is currently recording a four song EP. He is also playing solo acoustic and acoustic duo acts.
