I am an aspiring singer/songwriter from Dayton, Ohio. I write, produce, and record all my own music out of pure honesty. Keeping in mind the visceral content of Leonard Cohen, the pure artistry of Bright Eyes, the melodic beauty of Elliott Smith, and topped off by a Bob Dylan approach to songwriting, my current album, “Concerning the Heart and Soul,” has an alternative-folk feel to it; with fingerpicked acoustic guitar, harmonica, emotional vocals, and introspective and confessional lyrics. I believe that it has the kind of songs that, upon listen, what with their Lo-Fi sound, can invoke a feeling of being right in the room as the song is played. Currently, I’m trying to build a more solid fanbase by promoting my album through the combination of internet networking and local/regional performances. I am in the process of recording more music as well; but those details will come along later.
