Bio

“BFP!” Come to a Brandon Perry show and you will hear it being yelled from somewhere in the crowd. You'll see it on the stickers in the strangest places, and you will know the music when you hear it. “Brandon F****n' Perry!” It is what it is, and you will not leave disappointed. Born just outside of New Orleans, LA, raised in Atlanta, GA with strong ties to a musical family from Houston, TX- Brandon's musical background is as diverse as his heritage. Like a patchwork quilt… holes in some places, a little worn out in others, always room for something new, but nothing short of comfortable.

“Music has always been a part of my life,” Brandon remembers. “Piano lessons, cello, violin, my cousins' keyboard, and drum set, trash cans… anything I could get my hands on.” Finally, a college roommate had a guitar, and ‘it' began. Though the storytelling and songwriting would take a while to develop, Brandon began playing gigs right after college at the urging of some close friends. “Playing covers was fun, but not entirely satisfying.” A few songs were written here and there and with the urging of some more close friends a more concerted effort to push the original music emerged. Now on the verge of having three recording projects finished, the road ahead is wide open.

“I see my self developing more as an artist everyday.” Inspired by some talented rising stars in Atlanta, and influenced by some greats like Dave Matthews and Johnny Cash, Brandon's music seems to get better every day, and it's all about the music. There are no costumes or make up here just good music. Get out to a show and soon you'll see why everyone is yelling “BFP!!!”
