BRAVO!

BRAVØ! is a 3 piece Alternative Rock band that is influenced by music from the late 90’s. BRAVØ! delivers up beat and fresh sounding music. When you listen to any of BRAVØ!’s songs you’d like to think you get reminded of a lot of your favorite bands but you can never quite pin point which bands. The band originates from the capitol of Mexico, Mexico City. BRAVØ! has been around since 2010. The majority of their songs can be found in SoundCloud. The first song you’ll find is Amor y Muerte that is very up beat, the song is drum and bass driven. Guitars and Synth in the song are very catchy and add ambience to the song. 1. What are your bands influences?
We have a variety of influences some that are musical are Punk, Alternative rock from the 90’s and Techno.
2. What is one favorite piece of gear each member in the band has?
Jairo (guitar and bass), Kcho (bass and guitar), Fids(drums and percussions)

3. What is the goal for the band to have the audience feel at one of your shows?
We hope our music connects with people that don’t know us.

4. If you can work with any producer who would you work with?
Trent Reznor

5. Is there anything the band likes to do for fun outside of music?
Apart from being a band we’re friends and like any group of friends we like to hang out, go out to grab a bite to eat or play a couple of games of FIFA.

6. What are the challenges that u face as a band?
As an independent band we have to invest in making videos, record music, buy gear and go out on tour. We do it because we enjoy it and we believe in our project. Sometimes we come across promoters that want to charge us to play and even bloggers that sell us their support just to be on their blog sites.

7. What do you think of the current state of the music industry?
It’s in a great moment for us as consumers because I’ve never had so much access to free music with a single click.

8. What is the creative process like when you come together to write music?
Generally we start a song out with a simple rhythm and some riffs. During practice we start laying out the structure and later we will add melodies and lyrics.

9. What is your reason for creating music?
Because life without music would just be wrong.

10. What is the next goal for a place or country that you would like to perform in?
Next year we’d like to play in a festival. We’d also like to put a tour together that will run through northern Mexico and southern US. -

Bandas mexicanas que seguramente no conoces y tienes que conocer
Hoy es mi cumpleaños, pero no por eso los dejo sin entrada hoy. Hoy les vengo a recomendar tres bandas mexicanas que estoy segura que no muchos conocen pero que es necesario que lo hagan y que la buena música se propague por todo el país. Agrupaciones que me han llegado a traumar por semanas y que ahora quiero compartirlas con ustedes y puedan seguir recomendando, se que les van a encantar.

¿Qué les puedo decir? BRAVØ! es una banda de rock alternativo de la Ciudad de México, llena de beats, ritmos y sonidos diferentes llenos de rock lo que hace que la melodía de cada una de sus pistas te enamore con toda la producción musical que tienen. Además, las letras son intensas y llegadoras, lo que te hará sentir su música mucho más y te apuesto que te vas a identificar con más de una letra por alguna situación de amor o desamor, lo que sea que hayas pasado, BRAVØ! tiene la canción que te va a narrar tu propia historia de una manera mejor de lo que tu lo puedes hacer. La voz es muy diferente a lo que ya habías escuchado, algo que hace que la banda se diferencie de todas las demás muy fácil al oído. Sin duda una banda super recomendada en todos los sentidos, tanto musical como audio visualmente. Disfrútenlos mucho. - trande
