Biography

When listeners recall their most memorable concert experiences, they remember bands with relentless stage presence, originality, and choruses that echo in their heads for days after. With these three aspects (and more) embedded in Bravo Romeo Bravo concerts, it is no wonder that they have emerged in a competitive music scene. Formed in May of 2006, BRB began working relentlessly to perfect new songs while incorporating a wide range of musical influences. After months of tireless preparation, the band hit the studio and laid down tracks for their debut EP entitled "Twilight", with Paul Leavitt (Senses Fail, All time Low, Cute is What we Aim For). After a sold-out CD release show, the ambitious effort eventually earned the five-piece great popularity from radio stations and surrounding music scenes. Fans responded enormously to BRB’s arsenal of memorable hooks, ambient bridges, and thought provoking lyrics. One of their most recognized tracks entitled “This is Your Pilot Speaking" delves deep into the intrapersonal struggle between ambition and consequence. The thematic elements to the songs are backed up by a wide-range of dynamics, emphasizing the bands versatility. In wake of their hard work, Bravo Romeo Bravo propelled themselves from playing backyard graduation parties to sharing the stage at packed venues with national acts including Quietdrive, All Time Low, Monty Are I, Valencia, Driving East, Mohair, The Dangerous Summer, and Dropping Daylight. “We’ll play anywhere," says guitarist Dan Ciarrocchi. “Whether it’s a dingy basement with five people there to see us or (we could play) a sold out stadium opening for Britney Spears for all we care. We’ll play our hearts out, and have the time of our lives doing so. As long as people are willing to listen, we'll be willing to play." With mindsets like this one, it barely surprises its listeners why Bravo Romeo Bravo has taken its music scene by storm, and left everybody wondering what is next for the striving quintet.

Lyrics

Excess Progress

Written By: Dan Ciarrocchi

Where do I stand if there's nothing but broken ground?
Our wills and our callouses are broken
We're imprisoned and bound- time is slipping away
Our wills and our callouses are broken
We're imprisoned and bound

He used the knife like a quill and crossed out what he'd become
His blood, his ink
Don't tell me the greatest stress is returning back-and we don't progress?
I am the voyager chained to the dock
The worlds best case of the worst paradox

Where do I stand if there's nothing but broken ground?
Our wills and our callouses are broken
We're imprisoned and bound- time is slipping away
Our wills and our callouses are broken
We're imprisoned and bound

An explorer with flag in hand, forgetting how it all began
How far away from home are we when we think that we're there all along?

Where do I stand if there's nothing but broken ground?
Our wills and our callouses are broken
We're imprisoned and bound- time is slipping away
Our wills and our callouses are broken
We're imprisoned and bound

Break the cycle, but be prepared to clean the shards without wounding your hands
You could never be
You could never be anything that I've become
Pray remembrances are few and far between
As far as I can see you could never be
You could never be anything that I've become

(Day in, day out, we trace, we doubt)

Leatherbound

Written By: Dan Ciarrocchi

Realign and redesign.
Tell me what have we done to get ourselves in this place.
Storms subside and we divide.
This is only the beginning of what we're becoming.

With a simple turn of a key
her memories reveal we're nothing more than what we've lived.

*chorus*
I'll take anything you give me just as long as it makes me feel alive.
This is nothing but a chapter of a book where rogues and heroes die.

These ink soaked pages cause a clamor;
More than the rusted hinge.
Mocking with perfect format as if there really is a pattern.
And if there was one it resides only in blank pages.
So tie me down; Anything to keep these pages bound.

*chorus*

Fearing the dawning light. Our story ends tonight.
Only to never be read.
Fearing the dawning light. Our story ends tonight.
Only to never be read.

*chorus*

This Is Your Pilot Speaking

Written By: Dan Ciarrocchi

It was an inferno
It was more than just a
Spark that lit the room
It was a case of
Splitting hearts, splinted wounds
Kind of night you die for

*Chorus*
Mayday, Mayday!
If I crash down
Don't let it be tonight
And don't
Don't let me go down without a fight
Mayday, Mayday!
My heart's a fire ready to ignite
Enough to take me down or
Keep me in flight
Mayday, Mayday!
Mayday, Mayday!
I won't let you down without a fight

The skies looked down and mocked us
At the gates of the terminal
Knowing of our true intentions
Of making the world seem minimal

*Chorus*

I won't let you down without a fight
Just don't let me crash down tonight
I won't let you down without a fight

*Chorus*

Friction

Written By: Dan Ciarrocchi

If I had it my way
I'd rip you apart at the seams
The sound that it makes when it tears
Will take control of your dreams
If I had it my way
I'd etch this moment in stone
And carve it into your body
Sucking the strength from your bones

Cry me something self-indulgent
No, this isn't murder
You are already dead inside
This is completely justified
What you are is just not human

*Chorus*
I would not scream if I were you
You did this to yourself
I would not scream if I were you
You did this to yourself

I'll stand right here
Watching you
So take a closer look I'll be right here
Right here when you close
Your eyes tell me that you're ready to go
One more time
I'll be generous and give you a moment
To wipe off the salt from your eyes

I'll leave when I'm good and ready
Stuck wishing that you never met me
I know you know nothing about what you want
So thank me later

*Chorus*

Don't make a noise sweetheart, now
Don't make a sound
You look so pretty with you
Face in the ground
Don't make a noise sweetheart, now
Don't make a sound
You look so pretty with you
Face in the ground

I would not scream if I were you

Don't make a noise sweetheart, now
Don't make a sound
You look so pretty with you
Face in the ground
Don't make a noise sweetheart, now
Don't make a sound
You look so pretty with,
You look so pretty

*Chorus*
