Often described as spellbinding, dynamic, emotional, breathtaking and spectacular, Braxi is a tour de force in live entertainment, and the emotion and chemistry they share in their music and live performances is their calling card.

Brandi Himmelreich, formerly known as Brandi Russell, is well known as the winner of Dutch television show Popstars in 2008. Born and raised in America, she spent her early years singing for Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, FL, as well as performing various leading roles in different American musical theater productions. In 2006, she moved to The Netherlands, where her career took a turn into pop music. She has performed and recorded official songs for various festivals and events, including the Ride for the Roses, Stockholm, Amsterdam and Antwerpen Pride, and the Tour du France.

Her husband and fellow BRAXI member, stage performer Max Himmelreich, is a graduate of the Musical Theater program at the Amsterdam University of Theater Arts. Max, also a working model for brands such as Diesel, has previously sang in various boybands in The Netherlands.

Since meeting and singing together, the two have fought battles of being pushed in one musical genre or the other, while their passion was finding juxtaposition within their art and breaking boundaries. Deciding to take a journey to find the key to their music, Brandi and Max spent three years abroad, focusing on classical voice training, and how to combine that technique with modern pop music in order to break traditional borders of musical genres.

After years of intensive training and experimentation, they discovered a formula that has never been heard before in traditional popular music, and so the musical duo of BRAXI was conceived. Since combining their
considerable talents, they have had the opportunity to work with many respected international musicians, songwriters and producers, both from the contemporary and classical worlds, and have recently signed with leading UK entertainment agency PEEL Entertainment and NL Factor
recording and distribution company for their European efforts, and Arrow Music Management in Nashville/Los Angeles, USA for the Americas.
