Imagine a band with the contemporary alt stylings of Sweden's International Noise Conspiracy mixed with the infectious rock of the Rolling Stones and you're part of the way to understanding the contagious vibe that has seen Queensland's Braxton sell out venues around Australia less than twelve months after forming.
Showing that the art of live performance is still alive and kicking, Braxton have a unique feel-good vibe and a party ethos, combining electronic influences with their rock core which is most evident on their debut EP “Under the Radar”.
“Ghost Town”, the single from the EP is released in January 2006 and follows a busy 2005 which saw the band consistently touring the country with artists such as Kisschasy, After the Fall, 28 Days and Faker, resulting in an invitation to play the 2006 Gold Coast Big Day Out.
