Brayal

His name is Brayal and he makes Hip Hop. A self proclaimed hip hop purist, he believes that lyricism is something that has been missing from the music for far too long. "It is time it makes a comeback" he is happy to see that the lyrical side of hip hop is starting to resurface. Coming from the middle of nowhere, Travis Reagan was born September 18th 1986 in Wyandotte Michigan. From an early age it became evident that music would become his life's passion. After hearing "Changes" by Tupac in 1997 his love for hip hop was realized. He honed his talent by competing in various rap battles, before joining the United States Navy. While serving our country, he was able to travel to places all over North America and Europe. During his term in the military he continued to practice his lyrical abilities to become a force to be reckoned with. During darker moments he claims "Hip Hop saved my life". In his music you get to hear what almost anyone can relate to, and identify with. JPK Groovehouse said in an interview with Brayal: "It is very simple to see that he as a person and an artist only wants to share one thing that much mainstream rap has lost touch with; feelings". When asked to describe why he doesn't rap about the cars and money Brayal had this to say: "I don't rap about cars and money, cuz' I don't have either". By hearing Brayal's music it is evident that good hip hop can come from the most unlikely places. With Widow’s Son Entertainment on his side Brayal will dominate the Hip Hop genre with not only talent but a sense of reality.
