We released our first 7 song EP this past July, and are planning a Southern Ontario tour for the fall/winter, as well as starting to record our second full length CD that will come out in the summer of 200. We're recording with Sorge Studios in Port Colborne and are very anxious for its arrival!

Brazen...The Mix of three former bands (Engage, The Enlightened Ones and Noise Past Eleven) officially merged together in November of 2006. In that short period of time, the band has written dozens of orgional peices that have dynamic lyrics such as "Let Go" stuck in their fans hearts forever.

Starting off playing local shows at Brock University, the bands name lifted off the ground with the it's success in Toronto during the Emergenza Musical Festival. The out-of-town/new/youngsters from the Niagara region took on over two hundred provicial rivals, many signed by Indie labels, many much older and more expereinced. In Brazen's first year of competetion, the boys shocked the rock nation by placing 15th, and just missing out on the provincial Finals.

The success of the event placed Brazen in shows with the likes of The Golden Dogs, The Junction, Social Code, The Ataris and an opening for the Canadian rock stars Marianas Trench.

Musically, It has been the goal of Brazen to create their own unique sound, while making sure one song doesnt sound anything like the next.

The band first formed with Danny, Kyle and Jason. "The Family Band" as Jason is the cousin of both Kyle and Danny who are brothers. Gregor joined shortly after that. The dynamic sound was starting to come together but the boys knew that something was still missing in their sound. Kyle at the time had been playing drums until just recently he decided to pick up a guitar... he was a natural and to this day rocks out on the guitar and sings in many of the songs. Jrod was first heard by Kyle and Danny in one of the school assemblys. In front of hundreds of kids, Jrod got up and sang and played piano. That chill you get down your spine when you hear something so gorgeous.... hit Danny at that very moment and knew he had to get to know him.

It is there hope that with the release of their new EP, it will be loved by all their fans. And as long as people are loving the tunes.. they'll keep on writing them.
