Breakfast in the Evening

Breakfast in the Evening is a power trio steeped in the traditions of old school Blues, Funk, and Rock n Roll, and molded by the artists whose visions and talents transcended the fleeting moments of the Billboard Hot 100, but grew to define an era, sound and time that will forever live on throughout history. 

The band began through the chance meeting of soon to be lead vocalist and bassist Edd White spotting guitarist Chris Evans playing guitar in the back room of a house party in Colorado. The two found they shared similar influences, ranging from The Red Hot Chili Peppers to Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones to James Brown, and all points in between. After forming the band and preserving for several years through a Spinal Tap-ish succession of drummers (thankfully none of which spontaneously combusted), they emerged on the other side with their debut self-titled album Breakfast in the Evening (thanks to the help and talents of Chris Evans' childhood friend Jeff Nelson), and full-time drummer Charles Straight, who’s craigslist ad titled 'I May Be a Nutter, but am Also a Drummer’ caught the eyes and laughter of Chris and Edd. 

Together they have been been touring and playing the various bars, dives, festivals, backyards, and jives Southern California has to offer for the last two years. They are set to record their second record in April of 2016, and plan to release it during the summertime of the same year, after which they plan to embark on a tour with no end date in sight.
