Breakhouse music associates alternative rock songs with different kinds of motion: you are driving, swimming, leaping, staggering drunk, carried by weather. Climbing vocals and glacial guitars charge at the mining drums and bass masonry like angry rams. Alt/rock/punk/bite me.

The modern general pool of "hard rock" and "indie rock" bands have a general sound associated with them, but they lack the songwriting diversity, message, and hooks that Breakhouse delivers.

Vocalist John Q. Leonard abrasively narrates stories and offers dialogue about relevant THINGS rather than emotions. Lead guitarist Evan A. Demko has a diverse musical history which includes bits of rock, folk, jazz, classical, and marching. Applying the different rhythms of this musical palette to the band's songwriting foundation of rock makes for a diverse setlist.

Loud, raw, and intuitive without the ugliness, Breakhouse bassist Justin Gardner and drummer Loren Caler have the veteran musicianship to regulate the songwriting lunacy, as well as push it beyond the lines when tastefully appropriate. The recorded Breakhouse gets you grooving and the live Breakhouse will plow through bank vault walls.
