Breaking Radio

Formed in 2009, Breaking Radio shed its coverband roots to become a powerhouse original rock band. Led by the soulful vocals of frontman Aaron B., who's songs range from laid back introspective pieces to flat out barn burners. "...there is no right or wrong style", he explains," I just play what's in me." " When you tap into that cosmic wave, it's like an out of body experience..." Contributing to the band's multifaceted sound are Dave Wild and Mark Roshon. Mark brings precise and intentional percussive power. His timing has been honed by years of practice and exstensive drum core experience. Dave brings an intrusive bass tone that has been affectionately described as "if a bass guitar threw up another bass guitar and then dragged it through the gravel." In other words, awesome! The newest member of the band, Collin H., brings a driving texas blues style rocking lead guitar that never dissappoints and usually blows the listener away. Sonically, Breaking Radio is a conglomeration of its member's diverse influences from Tom Petty to The Black Keys to Radiohead to Tool. From a centerpoint of American Rock, the band's songs explore a large range of musical dynamics, rythmic push and tonal variations. A Breaking Radio performance must be seen to be truly appreciated.
