New England based rock group BreakThrough has been noted by many as rock at itÂ’s finest. This power trio has been in the making for many years. In 2003 , drummer Randy Waycott and singer/guitarist, Kris Hype started making music together in the the basement of their shared apartment. After an incident in which Kris Hype was shot, he was incarcerated and served five years at a Federal Prison. After his release, the two got back together, joined by Randy's father, and bassist, Doug Waycott to complete the trio. After many days of hard work, the band has just finished their first full length album 'State of Mind' which has caught the attention of many, and is making a huge statement for the band. With comparisons to Staind, Chevelle, Sevendust, and 3 Doors Down, it seems like this band has a sound for everyone.
