Money was raised for the Haiti relief effort by the Northeastern Programming Board (NPB) on Friday, April 16. Held in the Alumni Hall, Hip Hop for Haiti comprised of rappers, break-dancers, body painting and various other forms of entartainment.
The event successfully raised roughly $1000 for charity and everyone that attended had a lot of fun. - NEIU

Terrian D Love also known as T.Love was born May 25,1984. As the youngest of three kids Terrian was raised by his grandparents. Growing up in poverty, Terrian learned the ways of the street and knew what it meant to struggle. Terrian was raised in the church, but fell in love with hip hop when he was young. Listening to rappers like AZ, NAS, Notorious BIG, Tupac, DMX, and THE LOX. Terrian was influenced by the best. In July 2001 Terrian moved to Chicago and and after graduating high school, joined the Marine Corp where he served two tours in Iraq, receiving two purple hearts. After the Marines, Terrian focused on his career in the security field. Still having his passion for rap he spent his free time reading the dictionary and freestyling to himself. In December 2009 Terrian decided to focus more on his rap career dropping his first mixtape entitled “The Cremation.” The mixtape left listeners amazed on his word play and incredible punchlines which made them listen more. When asked why he named it The Cremation he replied . . . .
“Cause I spit flame and I’m burning rappers to death!”
