Feeling a bit camera shy

I'd like to think that I've been a musician all of my life...even before I was born I was probably jamming to my mothers heartbeat while still inside her uterus. I started at a young age and by the age of 6 I had written my first piece on piano called "Drifting". I didn't begin to blossum as a musician until a few years ago when I made the decision to go with the music that was coming out of me rather than try to force myself into making music that wasn't naturally me.

I've always been fascinated with acoustic guitar and various types of world music. I love african drumming, the australian didjeridoo, the japanese taiko drums, the tone of middle eastern music, the airiness and energy of celtic music, and the spiritual outlet of native american music. I wanted to stylistically meld all of these facets together into one roots-driven project with a touch of personality.

What sets me apart from other bands? I'd have to say ENERGY....I've been a part of several other projects and I feel that my music has a certain type of electricity to it; I think people get into it so much because it brings us back to our roots and wraps around our hearts and souls. Honestly, there is nothing more powerful than thunderous drumming, add melodic overtones to it and it ascends normal music.

I love the music I'm making and I'm very excited about the directing it's going in. It's a great story of reciprocation with the music and the people.

I'm very proud of what I've created and I really want to share it with the world.
