Bio

"A dope ass lyricist, far more advanced than he may even realize he is..." At least that's how Shady Records and Aftermath Entertainment artist Stat Quo described him as after a video submission to a Blazetrack.com contest. If you are a fan of music with conscious lyrics and songs with content, you know, real Hip Hop, then its inevitable that once you hear Breeze rap you can't help but become a fan. His lyricism is undeniable and the ability to incorporate witty clever punchlines into every track just makes him shine above other artists.

Don't just take his word for it though, check the stats. Numbers don't lie. His first mixtape "Healthy Dosage" he put out at age 20 generating a few nods and gaining fans here and there reaching about 300 downloads. Not bad for a 1st try, but then he dropped his second mixtape "Growing Pains," jumping to about 1500 downloads. Again, not bad at all. But his most recent effort "Enlighten Me" got 25,000+ downloads within only a month. Talk about a growing fan base. No gimmicks, just real life in every track.

What sets Breeze apart from other artists? His ability to show a more vulnerable side to a young kid struggling to become successful. He has found a way to relate to the masses while refusing to dumb down his lyrics or sell out to gain fans. And he's respected widely for it. His influences include that of Nas, Jay Z, Joe Budden, and Tupac. But he has his own style that is comparable to none. If you're looking for the same old southern rapper with a catchy hook, a good beat, and nothing of value in the lyrics, also known as "one hit wonders," you won't find it here. Breeze set out to assist in the return of real Hip Hop. His main goal is to help people grow, learn, and mature by giving them insight to his personal life, including not only his triumphs but also his failures.

So who is Breeze? Originally born in Los Angeles, he moved to Nashville at a young age. With a mind always set on achievement despite the environment he was raised in, he understood the only way he would attend college would be through scholarships. So he continued to maintain high grades which ultimately landed him a full paid scholarship to Middle Tennessee State University. Known for their top of the line School of Audio Engineering and Technology, He decided that's what he would major in. Although a competitive program, Breeze applied and was accepted. He graduated with a Bachelors in Science. From there his first step would be to not only keep pursuing his music career but also his engineering career. He landed an internship at Doppler Studios in Atlanta and quickly moved up through the ranks to assistant engineer to engineer, working with artists such as Usher, Monica, Lyfe Jennings, Bobby V, and many more. All the while still pursuing his own music career.

Breeze has performed all over from Ohio, to Tennessee, to Kentucky, to Alabama, quickly gaining fans as he goes. He continues to do major shows in his hometown of Atlanta. Stay on the lookout for him, you will be hearing his name much more.
