Handmade Music!
Hand crafted songs that convey the honesty found in the songs of the Americana spirit where a lot of their inspiration is found. From that high lonesome sound to mountain ballads to Celtic infused jams - notes and tones from Appalachia to the sun soaked shores of Cali are there all out of a NYC focus. A unique sound to be sure!
The band has been together close to three years and have created quite a blend of bluegrass, newgrass, country, rock and all things in between. The original songs express a vulnerability of raw emotion honed with a dose of reality rarely found in today's music scene. The band is looking forward to its first full album release in the very near future!
The last couple of years has seen the band playing all over NYC and they are constantly adding more venues to their expanding circuit. BreezyGrass is: Vic LaMura, Steve Hawk, Jim Cronin, and Matty Lyons. A diverse take on acoustic guitars, mandolin, upright bass, percussive drumming, harmonies, and a deep concentration on songwriting. Recently, the band has been joined on a regular basis by good friends Walter Ensor on banjo/dobro - guitars/vocals and Cat Cosmai on vocals. Together creating something that must be experienced live and in person and soon in the comfort of your own earbuds when the album is released!
