Brendan Adams was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Coming from this place that has a rich cultural heritage he also draws inspiration daily
experiences in his own life and the lives of others, capturing pictures expressed through poetry in music. Starting his creative journey as a painter and poet
Brendan´s artistic influences range from John Keats, Dylan Thomas and William Blake to Jesus Rodriguez, Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell to name but a few.
No newcomer to the music scene, he has reached the number 1 spot on the SA radio twice with his compositions recorded by the SA Band.
Brendan has played and toured around europe for the last few years with his trio. Many can be quoted describing this artist as a „diamond in the rough“
or a „dark horse“ but only those who have experienced the words and music can attest to the relativity of his songs in this day and age.
