Brendan Lake

Brendan Lake is a rising up and coming artist with a wide range of subject in his songwriting and performance. Singing started at the age of three. The cello was soon to follow and the piano by the age of ten. Brendan grew up in a small town on the coast of Maine. Writing and music were always a passion along with his love of boats and boat building. A voyage was his dream. 1997 he set sail on a small schooner he had built with his father and spent the next three years sailing up and down the east coast. A high school guitar class and memories of singing as a child led suddenly to perform songs out of his journal."I bought my first guitar the day before my first paid gig". Sailing through the Azores led Brendan to perform at a music festival of over three thousand in attendence. After landing in San Fransisco Brendan has performed on stage with 60's legend Sal Valentino and became great friends. Now married to his beautful wife they reside in Napa, Ca with a dog and of course a schooner sail boat. His influences in music run deep as he is effected by the likes of Greg Brown, Towns Van Zandt and many others.
