In the past year, R&B and their alternative counterparts have focused on mainstream artists, offering little support for underdog musicians. However, on a nippy MLK Day I decided to have a grimy photo shoot at the Oakland Cemetery and bumped into one of (in my opinion) Berklee College of Music’s emerging alumnus, Brendan Musik, who was gracious enough to sit down for an interview. A singer-songwriter and dancer, he is new to the Atlanta music scene, but given his talent I have no doubt that he will become a name worth mentioning soon enough. - Immersive ATL

Bio
A singer, songwriter, and dancer, Brendan Musik has the versatility and skill to bring a new wave of musicality to pop music. A Baltimore native, Brendan has studied music all his life. After graduating from the Baltimore School for the Arts, the home of greats such as Jada Pinkett-Smith and Tupac, Brendan continued his musical education at Berklee College of Music. It was at Berklee that Brendan would begin releasing his original music and performing live in the Boston area. His undeniable stage presence and unique sound allowed him to opportunity to grace stages with acts such as Tinashe, Jonny Craig, and Cardi B. With his sights set on releasing his first project, Brendan is on track to change the game in Urban Pop music.
