Brendan Philip is a nomadic chameleon. Never shy from trying anything new, he has traveled to different corners of himself to find the message that feels the best to share with the people. Through the use of funk, soul, and experimental rock, he is taking his travels further. Originally writing songs using an acoustic guitar and any hour of the day, he found himself writing songs that were very somber, yet spoke of hope.
His first project set to be released in August is "Sex Symbols & Love Conspiracies", a reflective piece, focused on questioning the poster definition of love and the experiences that people have that never quite seem to fit the way love has been sold to the them.
Brendan Philip's music is about trying to find balance, in other words attempting to make sense of things and their complimentary opposites. It is about conquering duality, and seeing the beauty when two opposites find their complimentary attributes and become one.
The music is about not being afraid of what breaks the silence and comfort.
