"Listening to these songs, one is immediately captured by the warmth, heart, and feeling pouring forth from this young man's guitar and voice. With influences running from Paul McCartney and The Beatles, to Jason Mraz and Ben Folds, Brendan Ryan, a Braintree native songwriter, uses an eclectic mix of originals and covers to lure listeners in and keep them waiting for more. An adept musician, Brendan is also a proficient pianist as well as guitar, and features these other talents regularly with the music of this project. As a fellow musician, and writer, who has had the great fortune to play with Mr. Ryan numerous times over the past year, I can personally attest to this young artist's brilliance, fluidity, and sheer enthusiasm for any music he involves himself in. Whether with full band or a sole acoustic guitar, Brendan Ryan is one of the hottest acts on the South Shore, and is worth your listen. Listen to and enjoy the heartfelt words and sounds of Brendan Ryan, one of the most promising musical outfits playing today." - Guy J. McGuinn

Brendan Ryan is a nineteen year old singer/songwriter from Braintree, MA. Leveraging from his range of influences from The Beatles and James Taylor, to Ben Folds, Jason Mraz and John Mayer (to name a few), Brendan's act is a blend of acoustic piano/guitar based pop rock. Throughout his years of playing, Brendan has played many shows and recorded many songs. Publicly performing his music for several years, Brendan has gained considerable stage experience in the Boston area, performing in well known venues such as The Middle East (upstairs), The Middle East (downstairs), and The Axis. His music has won various performance opportunities including Seventeen Magazine fashion shows, and air-play of some of his original music on the Top 30 Countdown with Billy Costa on Kiss 108 FM. Now a student at Umass Amherst, Brendan continues to play wherever/whenever he can. Recently his new song, Our Different Grounds, has been featured as a staple song in the upcoming indie film "Again."
