Brent Garcia

Blessed with a gift for music, Brent Garcia quickly picked up the guitar after receiving his first generic acoustic as a Christmas present from his parents at age twelve. He has never put it down.

Though the guitars are no longer generic and his horizons have broadened to the bass, electric guitar, piano, synthesizer; his love is still the sound of the acoustic guitar. This was a fabulous pairing for his love of writing and storytelling, so lyrics were a natural progression for him – and so the songwriter was born!

Brent graduated at sixteen. With more time on his hands, he became more serious about music. He started learning about music theory and songwriting. Brent played whenever he wasn’t doing anything besides working or sleeping. Being a Navy brat, Brent moved around a lot. He lived in Southern California for a good portion of his life. When his father retired after twenty-four years of service, he moved to Coeur d’Alene Idaho where it really started to happen for him.

Brent branched out and started playing paid gigs at parties, restaurants and coffeehouses. The decision was then made to move back to California to try and take his shot at sharing his talent with the rest of the world. Brent met up with an old friend who helped him book shows and was able to introduce him to an awesome sound engineer to get things moving.
