Brett Barrow

Brett Barrow brings a soulful jazzy-funk and roll sound that blends powerful guitar sounds and a smooth vocal presence. The Monterey Herald in Monterey California, home of the Monterey Jazz Festival, declared Brett the "Berklee Miracle". Brett attended Berklee College of Music in where he studied with guitarist Richie Hart. While studying with Richie Hart, he became heavily influenced by George Benson and Wes Montgomery. At Berklee, Brett also spent a year as a member of the Funk and Soul/ensemble led by Lenny Stallworth (RH Factor member) - studying Blues, Jazz, Rock with additional instructors including Livingston Taylor; however, Richie and Lenny remained his most influential mentors during his time in Boston.

Brett and his band are currently touring with stops from California to Texas. A new CD will be available starting in March 2015. The new CD will contain a "6 Pack" of songs introducing Brett's instrumentals that can be heard on CBS Sports Professional Golf Tour telecast. It will also contain new vocal songs with an acoustic presence.

During Brett's time in Boston at Berklee College of Music, he was fortunate to be surrounded by some of the most talented young and upcoming musicians in the industry. The members instruments of Brett's band includes, Drummer, Bass, Keyboards, Sax and Brett on Guitar. March 2015 is the start of the year for this talented group as they kick off their Spring in Fort Worth, Texas at The Woodshed on the Trinity River. Locally owned by Celebrity Chef and music aficionado Tim Love. Brett and the band will also make multiple stops in the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin. Veteran Austin promoter David Cotton, owner of one of Brett's favorite live venues, The Roost. Other venues will include the famous Saxon Pub in Austin. On March 19th, Brett will be involved in a Showcase at the popular South By Southwest (SXSW). The month will conclude with shows at the House of Blues in Dallas and a final show in Dallas at The Rustic. The creator and owner of The Rustic, Country Music Legend Pat Green has teamed up with Veteran promoter Gary Osier to book Brett for his final show in Texas before heading back to California. Stealing a line form one of his songs, "The World Ain't Slowing Down".

Currently, Brett resides in Los Angeles, California. He is a member of the Universal Recording label
