"Danuels Rocks the White House AIDS Vigil"

Acoustic artist Brett Daniels was one of the many performers that played on the Elipse at the White House for the AIDS Vigil and Candlelight Memorial.
Along with Danelsm there was comedian/MC Sherri Lewis, Broadway peformer Bert Coleman and the members of the cast of Wicked.
Daniels chose two heart felt songs that totally fit the moment and mood of the evening. First, was Love Don't Need A Reason" by Michael Callen and Daniels own original "I Wanna Live Like That" Watching the faces of those that attended were very moved by Daniels performance. - Housing Works

Brett Daniels was born in Houston, Tx. grew up in Hot Springs, Ark. and went to High School and College in St. Louis, MO and Austin,TX.
He got his first guitar at age 5 and loved Johnny Cash. Like most young men, music got pushed to the side for sports. When Brett, moved back to Austin, music became a big part of his life again. Taking performance classes and doing open mics, Brett started honing his craft.
Like most musicians who have to pay the rent, he had to get a job; so he worked for Dell Computers. When he got laid off after 9/11, Brett moved back to St. Louis for family obligations. He stayed with his sister and her music producer husband for a bit.

At a function in St. Louis, Brett, met his now manager Bert Coleman. Coleman, has worked in various aspects of the Entertainment Industry while living in New York and Los Angeles. Coleman, was in a couple of Broadway Musicals, and then got into the Recording Industry(thought more job security) working as National and Regional Promotion Director for Atlantic, WB, Polygram, Motown and Tommy Boy Records.

With his contacts, they hooked up with LA producer Marty Rifkin. Rifkin, has produced such acts as Tom Petty, Buddy Jewell, LeAnn Rimes, Jewel and tours with Bruce Springsteen.
Daniels, has strong roots in Country, R&B, and Rock. Such influences: Johhny Cash, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Tom Petty and Luther Vandross.
Brett Daniels, has performed at CMA's FanFair, and CRS-36 in Nashville; plus various clubs in New York, LA, Seattle, Nashville, St. Louis, Austin and other cities.
He has opened for for Shooter Jennings, Blues great John Hammond, Joe Nichols and "RENT'S" Anthony Rapp. For three summers(one week engagements) he was the pre show act, at the world famous, "Muny" in St. Louis (12,500 seats nightly)

Daniels, has three singles that have been played on Country Radio Nationally, throughout Europe and Sirius Radio's "New Country" Channel.
This past January Brett Daniels played in Washington, DC for one of the Inaugural Parties, where he debut his latest single, "This Is Her Last Goodbye"
