Brett Longnecker

I was born on November 5th, 1988 in McCook, Nebraska. I was raised on a farm and was brought up listening to nothing but traditional Country music till I was 12 years old. From that moment on, I started listening to classic rock from the 60's and 70's era, which helped broaden my perspective on music itself. As much as I loved listening to music, I always had the passion to pick up a guitar and learn how to play it and possibly start writing songs. I wasn't able to find the motivation nor the drive to sit down and figure it out until I turned 21. From there, the rest is history. I've written several songs based on life experiences, which sometimes tells the story from a third person perspective.
My sound and style is best described as Americana meets Folk and or New Age music.
