Bio
Raised in Orlando, Florida, Brian Dowd began his musical journey at the young age of 14. Having toured for the last 10 years as a drummer for national bands such as Gary Allan, Frankie Ballard and Josh Thompson, he decided to take a huge step in starting his own project, writing his own songs with an Irish-Folk rock twist. After a long grind on the road as a touring drummer, Brian decided to move back home to Orlando, after residing in Nashville for a decade. "I felt like I had something more to say, so I took three years and wrote the songs for this first album and it has been an amazing experience," says Dowd. Inspired by the likes of Amos Lee and Glen Hansard, his first release is something to be very excited about. Brian has performed opening for the likes of The Foo Fighters, Luke Bryan, Tim Mcgraw, Lee Brice, Sugar Land and many more.
