Bio

Briana Renea comes by her country roots naturally, growing up on a rural farm in Canby, Oregon in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.  She released her EP “Red Lips White Lies” in May 2015.  On this EP, Briana collaborated with great Nashville writers, Cort Carpenter, Jason Wyatt and Tony George.  Her original songs are about real life experiences happening around her.  Her song, “Dirt Side” talks about her country roots growing up playing in the dirt and living on a farm.  “Red Lips, White Lies” was inspired by a road trip with her twin brother, learning about all the “crazies” he dated.  Her musical style was greatly influenced by her childhood growing up on 80s rock and 90s country.  It is only natural that she blurs the line between rock and country in her writing style.

Her hard work is paying off by having her new single and title track of her new album, “Chasin’ Trouble” placed in the Top 40 for the Nashville Songwriters Association International’s (NSAI) second quarter of 2016.  Off of her first EP “Red Lips White Lies” her song “Dirt Side” was chosen for the top 12 Best of NSAI Spring Training award.  Most recently, her new bull riding single “Widow Maker”, was selected for use in the Northwest Pro Rodeo Association finals commercial.  Briana has been blessed to work with such a wonderful and experienced group of writers.  Songwriters like Steve Mitchell, Dee Briggs, Mason Douglas and Jason Wyatt have helped shape and guide her music.

You can’t miss red haired Briana’s high-energy when she performs.  She has traveled and entertained country fans throughout the Northwest, and shared the stage with notable acts such as Joe Nichols, Old Dominion, Canaan Smith and Sammy Kershaw.  When she’s not playing music you will find her embracing her dirt side, showing horses in the Western States Stock Horse Association, swing dancing and hanging out with friends and family.
