Bio

Briana sings with a soft, calming presence soulfully blending contemporary flavors with traditional harmonies. Briana’s music sooths the thirsty soul, inspires the hurting heart and strengthens the worn spirit. “My desire is to set an atmosphere where people are focused on the power and purpose of God. I want my music to put people in a posture of worship”.

Hailing from the “Valley of the Sun”, this Phoenix native has been referred to as “Phoenix’s best kept secret”. She began singing as a child at the Emmanuel C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of the late Bishop Felton King. She went on to sing in a number of choirs and groups throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area as well as nationally. Briana had the awesome privilege of ministering with and opening for some of gospel music’s greats to include: Eddie James, Ce Ce Winans, Kim Burrell, The Katinas, John P. Kee, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark & The Clark Sisters and Tramaine Hawkins. Briana is a featured artist on the previously released compilation CD entitled, “Desert Rain Vol. 1“. Several of her recordings from the compilation CD are in radio rotation and are really creating a buzz in the industry. The hit single “Nothing‘s Too Hard“ prompts high praise, while “I Worship You“ and “Fill This Place“ lead you into throne room worship.

Briana is currently in the studio completing her debut project, which is scheduled for release in early 2005. “I am prayerful that God will open major distribution opportunities for the release of my new CD. God is already doing so many great things and I am truly grateful".

In addition to being an anointed psalmist and songwriter, Briana is a wife, mother, schoolteacher and student of the word. “The word of God is my song;” therefore, “Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed” (Psalms 119:80).
