Long time musician Brian Barnhouse has released his first solo album: "clarified"...
Having played in cover bands for over 1200+ nights live, all over mid-west & northwest club circuits...Brian wrote and released many songs with his various bands. After receiving an honorable mention in the Mid-Atlantic songwriting contest (rock category), Brian decided to really focus on his songwriting.
His new album, "clarified"
sticks close to his songwriting influences: Rick Springfiend &
Thin Lizzy. The hook filled songs of Rick Springfield, with the rawness
of Thin Lizzy. "clarified"
combines 80's power pop, big vocals, hooks, and occasional harmony
guitar solos.
Produced by Bobby Barth (Axe, Blackfoot), with a steller line up of musicians, including: Bob Harris - Keys, Background Vocals (Steve Vai, Warron Zevon), Jimmy Hunter - Drums (Veteran Hollywood Studio Musician), and Troy Johnson - Bass (Stephan Percey/Ratt & Frank Hannon/Tesla).
