Bio
Brian Cullen's Love Bullets would play to the cat if we thought he would stay still long enough, that's how much we love playing live. From our first gig in the Voodoo Lounge, Arran Quay in July 2005 playing to Tattoo Convention (Don't ask) to numerous gigs in Eamonn Doran's, Pravda, The Sugar Club, The Hub, The Mezz we have played to huge crowds and not so huge crowds but no matter how many people present Brian Cullen's Love Bullets always put on a show. Our worst nightmare would be for people to think we phoned in a gig. Playing live is what we are all about so we do the best we can EVERY SINGLE TIME.
We have a very strong DIY ethic, everything we do is done by us for us. We are about to release our first EP entitled "Brian Cullen's Love Bullets- Ask for directions" on our own label CPR in July 2007. If we could have pressed the record ouselves we would have but buying and learning how to use a vinyl press is more difficult than you would imagine. Our manager or womanager is Rachel Dowling-guitar player in Brian Cullen's Love Bullets who works tirelessly to promote us, make our posters, organise or get us gigs with other people and generally keeps us sane, together and well behaved!
We could never be descibed as prima donnas,we like to get our hands dirty and are often found pushing bass amps upstairs in small venues, soldering broken guitar leads etc. The only people we expect anything from is ourselves, if anyone gives us anything it is a bonus, which emobdies the spirit of HWCH.
