Bio

Brian Halloran has been performing in and around New York for over ten years. Prior to that, he was a founding member of the Chicago-based band, Citrus. More recently he spent several years touring and playing bass with the Pittsburgh Irish rock band, Ceann, whose song, "Pretty on The Inside" was an NPR song of the week. In addition to playing solo/acoustic shows, Brian has taken a novel approach to full band shows, using a revolving stable of gifted musicians; most notably, guitarist Emmett O Malley (mrnorth, Enrique Iglesias), bassist Rob Calder (Ari Hest, Angus & Julie Stone, Colin Smith), drummer Tommy Diehl (In Ashton, Screaming Souls), as well as mrnorth drummer Adrian Mordaunt & NYC everyman-bassist Tony Maceli. In 2005, Brian Released his first solo album, Jasper. The track "Gunga Din" was used in the short film, Jo-jo Is A Dog's Name. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his follow-up album, News From The Queen Victoria.
