Brian Hester and The Borrowed Band

Brian Hester and The Borrowed Band officially formed in the summer of 2011. Prior to that time, Brian had been performing solo acts of original material at such venues as The Bluebird Café and the Nashville Songwriters’ Showcase. But, Brian decided he wanted to broaden his sound and “borrowed” his band members from other local groups. Currently, The Borrowed Band is comprised of Tyler Anderson, Zakk Huddleston, and Taylor Mullins.
In record time, Brian Hester and The Borrowed Band were playing in a wide variety of venues ranging from multiple performances at Tootsie’s World Famous Orchid Lounge to a show at The Warren County Fair. They have performed at Two Purple Pigs (drawing that venue’s largest crowd of record), The Brew, The Celtic Cup, Jim Oliver’s Smokehouse, and Bean Creek Winery. In addition, Brian and The Borrowed Band regularly play college venues such as The Bunganut Pig and 3 Brothers Deli & Brewhouse.
Due to their energetic shows and Americana style, Brian Hester and The Borrowed Band have quickly developed a loyal following that make their live performances an anticipated event.
