Audiences are moved to both tears and laughter at his performances, and with his intricate guitar work, soulful voice and lyrics, listeners are consistently drawn into the powerful yet affectionate energy that radiates from his songs.
Brian is from Edmonton, Alberta and has lived all over Canada, California, and New Zealand, and was immersed in music from an early age. He is a self-taught singer and multi-instrumentalist; playing guitar, bass, drums, percussion, piano, cedar flute, ukulele, digderidoo, and beatbox. With influences from classical music, contemporary pop, African, hip-hop, jazz, reggae & rock, Brian's music is an exciting and eclectic blend of sounds well grounded by great grooves and thoughtful lyrics.
Brian has performed at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, the Parihaka International Peace Festival in New Zealand, and other festivals throughout Canada. He won first place & people's choice award in the 2012 Easter Seals New Talent Contest. His album Door Of My Heart was released in October of 2011, and his song “Imagine That” is featured in the "Celebrate Songwriting - Songs of the Human Condition" collaboration album, featuring 11 of Edmonton's finest songwriters.

He has collaborated on the hip-hop-inspired project "Homesun", with his brother and best friends, as well as shared the stage with Shimshai, Rick Buckman Coe, Al Brant, Karla Anderson, Lyra Brown,and Joe Nolan, and many other artists since 2009.
