Bio
Growing up and listening to music in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and beyond has given me a large variety of musical influences to draw from. From straight up Rock & Roll, to Rockabilly, Rhythm & Blues, Country and Western, Bluegrass, Blues, Big Band, Little Band, Reggae, Gospel, Folk, Punk, Motown, Stax, what have I left out. All have played a part in shaping my music.
The Stones, The Beatles, Elvis, Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, John Hiatt, Neil Young, The Clash, John Lee Hooker, I could go on and on and on. It's really just a good song that makes me tick. A ballad to a boogie to a jump blues blast by Louie Jordan. I love them all and have dabbled in all of their music at some time or other since I started playing.
Lately though, the emphasis has been on getting me out there. Mostly me and my acoustic guitar. Ya know, the whole three chords and the truth thing. The recording I'm doing in my home studio usually includes more instrumentation. Acoustic, electric guitars, piano, Hammond organ, bass and drums.
You get the picture. Nothing too flashy or showy, but always... open to seeing what’s around the corner.
