My name is Brian Rhodes. I am from Memphis, TN and recently moved to West Palm Beach, Fl to continue my music career. I want to thank you for reviewing my press kit. I am a singer/songwriter/guitarist. I play acoustic solo, and play covers and my originals. I have played many venues such as Minglewood Hall (Battle of the Bands), The New Daisy on Beale, Lakeland Live, KPs Music Rodeo, The Poplar Lounge, Doc Holliday’s, TJ Mulligans, The Cove, The Blue Daze Bistro and The Spot in Hernando, MS just to name a few. I have 3+ hours of original and cover songs, and would love to be considered for a show at your business and/or event

I look forward to working with you and hope you’ll look at my enclosed press kit. I can also provide you with a demo CD of originals and covers.

Thanks for your time

Sincerely,

Brian Rhodes

BIO
I got my first guitar when I was 8 years old and never put it down. I have been playing and writing over 32 years. I enjoy playing live and recording my original music. I am a very blessed person in many ways. About two years ago I was in the hospital for over two months with pancreatitis. At one point the doctors said I may not make it because it was so bad. I could not eat or drink for over two months and was hooked up to many IV's and tubes. By the grace of God they were able to finally do surgery and I was fine. God has a plan for me and that plan I think is my music. I am currently in the studio recording a CD and hopefully will finish it by the end of December. The first two singles are already out. One of the singles is entitled "Last Plea for Help". I wrote and recorded this song for the Humane Society’s and dog rescue groups. I hope this will encourage more people to adopt or donate to these organizations. My single CD is at The Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County and I am donating all proceeds back to the Humane Society.
“What I wish I had of Said” is my second single. I hope this song will encourage more families to become closer and make sure each one knows the other is loved.

I have played at many different venues such as Minglewood Hall, The New Daisy on Beale, The Refuge at Lakeland, KP’s Music Rodeo, Doc Holidays, The Poplar Lounge, Blue Daze Bistro and the Spot in Hernando, MS just to name a few. I have also played many festivals such as the A’fair in Hernando, MS and Corn Stock Festival in Troy, TN and Love Music Festival. I love giving back my music and have also played at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital and The Ronald McDonald house for the Children. I was recently on FOX 13 Good Morning Memphis talking about my music and also played one of my songs. I have also played at many charity evens and loves giving back. All of my originals have been recorded at Miledge Recording Studio in Southaven, MS. I moved to West Palm Beach, FL in November 2011 to continue my music career.
