Bio
Brian Risk is the leader and front man for the band. His live performances began at the local hospital as he delivered the music therapy program. This slowly morphed through a few different bands and he is now billed as the Brian Risk Band.
Brian is a school teacher by profession so he brings a hard working and organized approach to every show and recording. Promoters and club owners enjoy working with Brian to set up everything from small gigs to large festivals. His organizational experience is incredible.
Brian's experience as a teacher/coach in the high school stream has brought him around the world as a National Team Coach for Athletics Canada. He has coached Team Canada on 14 occassions.
Brian is published author in 4 different languages and is a highly sought after motivational speaker for many conferences.
Brian's musical influences include Neil Young, Lennon/McCartney, Slash, David Gilmour and Roger Waters.
The main difference between Brian Risk and other bands is the professional approach to everything.
