Bio
Brian Thurber is a multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Salt Lake City. Performing professionally since the age of 14. Persuing an interest in jazz drumming Brian set out to New York City at the age of 20 to study with the greats and be emersed in the NYC jazz scene. Upon returning to SLC, Brian set his sights upon the art of song writing. Influence heavily by the sounds of his childhood Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan and more recent artists such as Ray Lamontagne, The Wood Brothers. Brian still consideres himself to be "cutting his teeth" as a songwriter but has enjoyed an overwhelmingly warm response to his move from behind the drum kit to front man.
