Bridge Arcadia is the new offering from four previous members of SA's Fifty Two (2005-2008). 2008 brought a new line-up change and a progressive yet distinct change to an old sound, mixing alternative music with a rock feel.
A new Passion brings a new sound and with their debut EP “Static in Stereo” Bridge Arcadia is ready to make an impact.
Through the guys time playing in Fifty Two they shared the stage with some Great Australian acts including Grinspoon, Something with Numbers and Kid Courageous.
During the beginning of 2008 the guys decided that a new mature and professional approach to music was necessary. Putting planning into place the guys went about creating Bridge Arcaida with fesh music and style ideas much excitement grew in the group as they could see some real positive change happening.
Bridge Arcadia worked tirelessly over the first 9 months of 2008 writing songs for “Static in Stereo” and scrimping and saving money to ensure a professional and outstanding result could be accomplished.
Recording at Capital Sound Studio with Engineer Simon Giuliani and Producer Dan Jones mid September, Bridge Arcadia recorded their debut EP “Static in Stereo”
Having it Mastered by West West Side in USA the end product turned out much more than the boys anticipated.
Opening 2009 with a support for City Riots in port Lincoln and officially launching their Ep in Whyalla March 2009 with Enolas Secret and Isle of Capri. Bridge Arcadia are gaining much momentum through radio and press coverage in the spencergulf region of SA after the release of Static In Stereo and are hungry to be become a band to watch out for this year!
Three tracks from “Static in Stereo”, “Little Liar”, “So Don’t Let Go” and “Likewise Its Yours Truly” are currently playing on their Myspace.
Defining your music and writing songs that people are going to be singing to all day is never an easy task but this band feels they have now produced a CD that has does just this.
With a hard work ethic and aspirations to have their music listened to by all Bridge Arcadia’s next challenge lies in promoting and grasping at possible opportunities to push their music on people everywhere.
