"On Your Radar WFUV"

Danny Greenberg is a talented young guy from New Jersey who was raised on a diet of WFUV and artists like Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Josh Ritter. After studying at the Bolton Conservatory, he faced a crossroads where he had to decide whether to commit to a music career. Thankfully, he did.

His debut album, Morning Song, reflects his passionate commitment with a collection of well-crafted songs. Some even bear the influence of another inspiration, Stephen Sondheim. Ahead of his appearance at On Your Radar on September 13, Danny brought a solid group of musicians to WFUV for this "Sunday Supper" session. - John Platt

"Bridges & Tunnels Release "Changing Skies""

Rustic vibes, old stone buildings, and organic instruments played by real musicians make up the love music video for “Changing Skies”. We need more music like “Changing Skies” by Bridges & Tunnels. Uplifting lyrics, a virtuoso fiddle solos (who can also sing great harmony), and a powerful lead vocal take are what sold me on “Changing Skies” by Bridges & Tunnels. This song is worth a listen if you’re into raw organic artistry soaked in a bit of reverb and delay. A bit folk, a bit country, and very authentic is “Changing Skies” by Bridges & Tunnels. -

Bio

Following the successful reception of songwriter Danny Greenberg’s debut LP, the band spent the last three years playing shows around the Northeast headlining venues such as Rockwood Music Hall and My Fathers Place, and opening for acts such as Erick Schenkman of the Spin Doctors. Previous support for the project includes over 50 radio stations across the US and Canada, Interviews with NPR and WFUV, and being featured in John Platt’s On Your Radar as an act you need to know.

Musically, Brides & Tunnels both polished and expanded their approach, retaining their narrative depth while
bringing a simplicity and space to the sound that allows the words, harmonies and hooks to do the talking.

The band lives by their mission of using music and narrative to connect people to things we all have in common. In scope, palette, and composition, Bridges & Tunnels is a more daring and successful leap for a song writer that already kickstarted his career with a promising debut.
