Minnesota based trio Bright Light Parade is influenced by girl power artists like Avril Lavigne, Barlow Girl and Superchick.
We're talking teenpop that will be perfect for college kids partying by the pool or as they describe themselves, a caffeine kick and a sugar rock buzz.
This female fronted band has recorded 4 solid tracks where 3 are upbeat and 1 ballad, I think they're good at this Disney sounding pop rock but I get a little too much Hannah Montana vibes sometimes.
The first track "More" is a bit stronger than the rest, I want more edge in the music on the next release to get rid of the teen factor. - Kaj Roth

"A powerful message of purity, servant-hood and seeking the will of God in the everyday life of relationships, struggles, and blessings." These are just a few words to describe the empowered "girl rock" of Bright Light Parade. Lyrical forays into the depths of teen life through a Christian perspective are the anthem of sisters Lex and Torre Anderson. Their latest effort, titled The Heart Ballet, accurately describes the dance of emotion, both spiritual, and relational, through the perspective of one pursuing growth in following Christ.
Bright Light Parade has played countless shows throughout the United States and Mexico. In 2009, they will be launching a series of tours in promotion of The Heart Ballet. Endorsed by Daisy Rock guitars and jointly allied with both World Vision and World View Warriors, this group has made its way accentuated by their family bond and the support of a devoted fan base.
