"Very retro and cool. These guys can really lay down the funk!" - Tim Lefebrve
"This trio is well-oiled and grooves!"
- Jerry Bergonzi
"Righteously Funky! Brimming over with fat bass and riffing guitar!"
Francis DiMenno - The Noise
"Guitarist Mark Jodice, drummer Sai Ghose and bassist Jerry Wilfong prove to be a tight ensemble as they weave and circumnavigate around and through each other's part with effortless abandon. Good stuff!"

Bio
We started this band in the summer of 2006 as a way of releasing some of the funk demons that had been brewing in us for the last 15 years.
So putting aside our jazz roots, we began writing what would become our first "Bring Back Pluto" CD. When we finished, we decided to take it to a few of the heavyweights in the funk, jam band and jazz world and see what they thought. And here's what they had to say.
"Very retro and cool. These guys can really lay down the funk!" Tim Lefebrve (NY Bassist, Wayne Krantz, Chris Potter, everyone!)
"This trio is well oiled and grooves!" Jerry Bergonzi (the saxophone player's, saxophonist)
Playing live shows is what we love the most!! And we have many years experience playing shows across the country, including "The Knitting Factory" "Sculler's" "Yoshi's" "Nighttown" "Ryle's" and many others. Audiences really connect to our band because of how much interaction happens on stage between the band members. It's clear that we love to play together and this feeling is infectious.
Our music is full of surprises and energy. We have something for everyone including straight up funk, cerebral time shifts, slick arrangements or fun interpretations of old classics.
We are solid, reliable and easy to work with.
